Crystal and Loxley's Big Chop

I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off Loxley will be donating 38cm and Crystal will be donating approx 59 cm on Wednesday afternoon the 29th of April 2020.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

My Updates

The Big Chop

Tuesday 5th May
Loxley decided to grow his hair nearly 4 years ago. It all started when we were joking with Crystal in chopping her hair and donating it. He pipped up and said he is keen to do it. He had a couple of class mates call him names and pick on him because of his long hair. Loxley stood strong and continued to grow his hair. The big chop he had a hair length of 43 cm.

Crystal has been growing her hair since she was 5. That was the last time we cut it short. Now being 16 it was time for a change and decided to join Loxley in the big chop and donate her hair. Her hair length she is donating is 60 cm. I'm one very proud mumma.

Thanks for all the support
