I'm giving my curls a purpose!

I have always wanted to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I know so many people affected by a number of these medical conditions and want to do my part in making these kids' lives even a little bit better.

I'll be chopping off ALL of my hair (14 inches) around the 30th of June, so I've got almost two months to reach my goal.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.

Wednesday 30th Jun
Hi friends!! Today I finally cut off all my hair and am sending it off to be made into wigs this afternoon! You can still donate to the cause and help me raise funds for the kids. Thank you for all of your support! <3

Almost time

Friday 25th Jun
Only 5 days to go before I donate my locks. Why i chose the middle of winter to cut it all off....well that was just bad timing. I hate having long hair but I really hope someone out there appreciates it more than I did. I'm almost half way to my fundraising goal, so get your donations in!

One month left

Thursday 27th May
Only one month left until I cut off all my hair! I'm so excited to have it short and easy to maintain again. I've had short hair all my life so it's weird to have it so long now. I've been looking at cute colourful beanies to cover my head during this winter and have been trying to figure out which funky colour I'm going to dye my peach fuzz. Stay tuned and don't forget to donate!
