I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 36cm on the 28th August.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

The Big Chop

Monday 6th Sep
So... we are still in lockdown, so no trip to the hairdressers for me! (Yet!)
I shared the Big Chop event with my school online, which was still exciting to do. I managed to donate 40cm!! I love my new hair and hopefully another child will now also love their new hair!

Big Chop Postponement

Friday 27th Aug
Hi Everyone!

I had planned to do my Big Chop tomorrow, but due to lockdown, we've decided to postpone for a week. Hopefully if restrictions lift I can go to the hairdressers. If we stay in lockdown, it will just be me, Mum and the kitchen scissors! I hope to share the experience online with my school. Stay tuned!
