Thanks to Colleen and to all my donors, my hair is now on its way to Variety Hair with Heart!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I offer this special gift this Christmas and a gift for someone before I graduate.
The big hair chop of 35.5cm was done on Wednesday 9 December 2022.
Thank you to all my family, friends, teachers, relatives, and supporters for all your support, donations, and messages.
Congratulations also to Ziva, my best friend and to Olivia, my schoolmate who have donated their hair to Cancer Council Victoria and have raised funds, just like me.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.
