I'm Shaving My Head To Help Kids in Need!
Hi, my name is Shelley and a month ago I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
I will soon lose my hair from undergoing chemotherapy treatment, so I have made the decision to donate mine to children who require wigs due to medical conditions.
Please support me in making a difference in a young person's life!
Wigs cost families up to $6,000 and only last for 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars throughout a child’s youth.
By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to someone in need.
(P.S. I think a child would look like a rockstar with my hair as a wig, so let's make it happen!)

Good luck with your journey! One of the many times that my mum lost her hair during chemo she was told to shave it 3 times as it was growing back to make it stronger - it worked. Hope your treatment is successful and you are on your road to recovery quickly.
