I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 60 cm on 1st November 2022.

Those of you who know me well will know how important my hair has been to me over the last 15 years, since I started growing it. However, the time has come for my hair to become important to someone else.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

A week from today I will be cutting off my hair and donating it to children in need through Hair With Heart.

If you know me well, you’ll know how much my hair has meant to me since I started growing it. My long hair has been a part of my identity throughout the last 15 years but the time has come for it to be put to better use and become a joy in someone else’s life.

To commemorate this occasion and to say thank you and goodbye to my hair, I’ve decided to do 7 hairstyles over the next 7 days.

My goal is to raise $600 to match how many millimetres I’ll be getting chopped.
