I'm chopping off my hair and need your help to help others!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 38cm on Monday, the 13th of December.
Cancer affects a lot of people's lives; the person with the illness and their family and friends. Cancer is a terrible disease that kills many people. Lots of people in my life have been impacted by cancer. Thankfully they survived. Other people are not so fortunate. Sadly cancer does not have a cure. Two of my grandparents have battled with this fatal disease. My teacher has also had cancer. Luckily all of these people have recovered and are now living their best lives. With your help, we can make a difference for those less fortunate.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Sunday 12th Dec Oh My Gosh! I'm going to be bald! There's 1 day to go and I am so excited and nervous at the same time! We have raised OVER $2000 WOW😮! We might even reach $3000, AMAZING! I can't believe how much money I have raised and it warms my heart to know that so many kids will have a better chance in life. Thank you yet again for all the ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL support. Share
We're getting close!!
Monday 6th Dec We are SO close to the big day! It's getting exciting. I have talked to my hairdresser, Cathy Furney and we discussed how we were going to cut my hair. We decided to go down to less than a millimetre of hair! I am going to be velcro from day 1! Only 7 days to go! I am so thankful for all the wonderful support I have been getting from everyone and I am so glad I get to share this journey with you! 😊❤️ Share
