I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off nearly 45cms to donate in December 2020! Some of you may recall that I have been waiting for the required minimum length of 35.5cms for a long time and have been taking care of my hair so I can fit into the requirements (i.e. not colouring the hair). 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Here's a photo of myself with the chopped hair! I'm still getting used to it though :D. With your encouragement, I've donated nearly 50cms!

Can you imagine losing your hair due to a medical condition? That also as a kid! Even for an adult, it’d be a lot to take in. 

I’m telling you, for someone who had long hair during my entire adult life, it’s quite nervous to even chop it all off. I’m keep reminding myself that it’s for a good cause. This temporary predicament will bring a smile to a kid’s face in the form of a wig and the confidence and happiness that comes with it. 

Here’s a big invitation for all my loved ones, friends and family to help me raise funds for this cause. Who knows, it can be someone that we love benefiting from this tomorrow!
