I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I’ve made the decision to take the big chop!!!
I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need. I am donating to Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
After seeing my friend be diagnosed with cancer for the second time at 16 years old, and first hand what his treatment involved and the side effects, I asked my mum if I could grow my hair to donate it.
For me it has been a challenge having such long curly hair whilst playing cricket and AFL and dealing with ALL the knots. However this is nothing compared to what a person dealing with cancer goes through.
So I am asking if you could please donate something as Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
