I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off (20cm) on (April 18).

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Here I am on the other side of my Charity Chop and I am elated to have raised so much money towards helping children in need - $1272 - surpassing my $1000 goal. My hair donation was 15 plaits ranging in length from 26cm to 36cm. I am thrilled to be making a difference.

I understand that many people are feeling the burden of COVID-19 on a financial level. And that's okay, if you can't afford a donation, please spread the word about the good work being done by Variety - they are helping children in need. Sharing my fundraising goal is also important. I will be giving my hair and that costs nothing. Thanks for your support.
