I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
Four years ago, I made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. For three years I grew my hair with the intention of donating it once more, but with COVID these plans had to be put on hold.
I’m excited to once again be in a position where I am able to make this donation!
So on the 1st of May, 2021 I will once again get the chop to donate 35.5cm of hair!
Donating hair isn’t the only way that you can help Variety! Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Four years ago we managed to raise a whopping $1,100 for children in need. This year I am hoping we can top that and raise $1,500!
