I'm shaving my hair!

i've decided to shave my hair on my birthday this year (June 3rd), i have been wanting to do this for a while and finally made the decision to do it. 


One of the main reasons i wanted to do this was because when i was younger i lost and aunty to cancer. Then i also saw one of my aunties who had long hair who had breast cancer have to shave all her hair.
 
i've seen many kids and adults having no choice to shave their hair due to an illness, and have seen how much of an impact it had on them. 
 
For me i have the choice to shave my hair, and that's why i want to do it, my hair will grow back. Where others do to their illness can't grow back their hair, or it keeps falling out. 
 
As much as people say that i have so much courage to just shave all my hair off, i'm still nervous. My hair has been with me for 19 years and i've hid behind it, others complimenting me on my hair. But i'm more than just my hair, and shaving it off will show not only myself but others that you don't need hair to be "beautiful". 
 
Please don't feel pressured to donate, but to those who want to donate thank you. All the money not only goes to those who needs wigs but to those who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. Your donations help THEM, and as little as $10 goes a long way.
