My Big Chop!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I have been inspired by a boy named Christian McPhilamy, who grew his hair for two years to donate it for kids in need. Also, I watched a video involving a girl who kept on losing her hair, and got a wig by a caring person. From that point on, there was no turning back for me.
I'll be chopping off at least 35cm on Monday the 6th of December 2021. Donations will be open until the 20th of December.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need. You have made a big difference by donating money to this prestigious cause.
