Luke’s losing his luscious locks. Let’s help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off the lot (going right to the scalp!) sometime next week… depending on reaching my target of $500! 

(I know that’s a lot 🙄, but…)

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

The chop is ONLY A DAY AWAY. I’m prepping my people, my equipment… and also my hair 💇

It will take place at 11 am AEST tomorrow in the camp kitchen opposite Goanna Rest at the campground… look out for some pictures/video shortly thereafter!

Guys, thanks to some AMAZING last-minute donations (big thanks to Lisa, my dear mother-of-brother-in-law, also credit for the last 2 profile photos), we have SMASHED my target out of the water!

A huge thanks again to the many generous donors here at Adder Rock campground, including a large number of anonymous, cash-in-hand donations. I promise you’ll see me on the beach as a hairless wonder on Tuesday or next week!

I’ve literally just done a campsite-to-campsite stroll around half of the Adder Rock campground and SO many people have kindly donated. Special shouts out to Julie and an anonymous donor with their literally out-of-pocket cash-in-hand.

Having the time of my life here on Stradbroke, trying to get the best milage out of my last days with the mop!
