I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 35.5cm on the 10th of March 2021.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. Finally we can go ahead with the Chop!
Monday 1st Mar Lilly is really excited to be able to go ahead with her big chop! 2020 was a super challenging year with the pandemic meaning that the original chop date had to be postponed & we put a pause on fundraising while the world was changing, but during this time Lilly continued to maintain her positive outlook & told us that this time would mean she could grow her hair even longer which would mean more hair for more wigs! Lilly's hair is now down to her tailbone & is really thick & healthy, I can't help but feel a bit teary as I try imagine her without her long beautiful locks but to say we are proud is an understatement ❤❤ ShareThanks for all the support
