I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.  My family have been fundraising for Variety Qld since 2016 and I wanted to make my own contribution to support the valuable work Variety does.

I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Yesterday I visited the team at Qld Variety to receive my thank you certificate and to show them my new haircut (and the hair I am donating).  They posted a photo of my visit on their Facebook page!

After 3 years of growing out his hair, Lawson is set to make a difference. Now that he is about to start high school, he decided it was time to make the 'Big Chop' to symbolise a new beginning. 💇
Lawson's generosity will benefit Variety's Hair with Heart program which grants wigs to kids who have lost their hair due to medical conditions.
In less than a week, Lawson has also fundraised almost $1,200 for Aussie kids in need. He has chosen for his contribution to support his parents 2024 Variety Bash fundraising.
