I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I've been inspired by the work of Variety and of Sustainable Salons being the #1 donator of ponytails to the medical wig market to finally take the plunge and donate my hair! 

I'll be cutting at least 35.5cm of virgin hair, the minimum amount for a high-grade ponytail to be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. I'll be visiting a Sustainable Salon on Monday 24th for the big chop!

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. 

The more people that know about Variety, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family too.

Pony gone, bob in!

Monday 24th Apr
The day has finally arrived, the pony is gone and I'm OBSESSED with the bob! Most importantly, these high-grade ponytails (over 35.5cm long!) will be donated and sent to Variety to help make wigs for children going through medically-induced hair loss.

Rockin' the high pony before its gone!

Its not long to go til my pony goes to a better place! Its 2 days till the big chop, and I can not wait! I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported my fundraiser, it's awesome seeing such a supportive network of friends, family and workmates come together to raise money for Variety in the lead up to the big day ❤️ We've **almost** hit $1k 👀 so LETS DO THIS! Anything you can give will help those children suffering from cancer or alopecia areata in their journey to recovery through funding for alopecia adventure camp, a specialised wig or even medical technology!
