I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 37cm.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

The Big Chop

Wednesday 27th May
Excitement was building and I was ready for a ‘new do’. Mum tied my hair up and Kelsey got her scissors ready.
I was feeling apprehensive about how short it was going to be but excited all the same. Mum got her camera ready and Kelsey chopped the first pony tail off. Harper and Reuben were squealing with delight and giggling at how short the pony tail became! It looked a bit funny when they were all chopped off. 
We laid them out and Kelsey kept cutting and styling. She did a fantastic job, I’m so happy with it. I hope whoever receives my hair as a wig is as happy as I am. 
In the end there was over 40cm of hair cut, and at least 38cm is being donated.
