The time has come... Amelia and Madeleine are chopping for charity!
Amelia and Madeleine have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating their hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
They realise what a difference their hair can make to kids less fortunate than them, so they’re going short. All in. As much as they can handle. It's happening in July and the excitement is palpable as we all dream of quieter mornings during hair brushing, fewer knots and faster drying time after swimming lessons.
In addition to the donation of their hair, Amelia and Madeleine are hoping to raise a few extra dollars to help kids in need. Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. You can also help support the girls as they make a very personal donation of their own in the best way they know how.

The girls’ donation
Wednesday 17th Jun Amelia and Madeleine took a leaf out of their friend Harry’s book and emptied their money boxes to donate to kids in need. With everyone’s help, they are well beyond their original fundraising target and with just under 3 weeks to go, have raised the bar again. 💕 Share
