I'm shaving my head to raise money for Variety!
I have decided to support the Variety Children's Charity who support children who are sick or disadvantaged. I'll be donating my hair to to make a wig for a child who needs it and giving the money I raise to Variety as well to help children who aren't as lucky as I am.
I'll be shaving off ALL OF MY HAIR, which currently sits at 45cm, at the end of term 3.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
