I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have been growing my hair long for the last couple of years, and made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off about 36 cm of my hair at the end of this school holiday, before the start of my Year 3. I am very scared and excited at the same time.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. I am hoping we can contribute a little of our pocket money to help make a difference to these families so the children who need a wig can get one without making it hard for the families. Thank you for helping kids in need.
