I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
Hi, my name is Amelia and I am 12 years old. My journey started about 3 and a half years ago when I heard about Hair with Heart. They are an organization who make wigs for sick children who have lost their hair due to a medical condition. So, I decided I wanted to help!
Now it’s finally time for ‘The Big Chop’. I have grown my hair long enough to chop off approximately 40cm (and still have some left). My hair will make wig/s to help children feel good about themselves and put a big smile on their face. I really hope, whoever gets it, will love it as much as I do. I know it will go to someone who needs it more than me.
I know it’s been a really hard year with Covid-19, but I am reaching out to anyone who is able to make a donation, big or small, toward my fundraising page. The money raised will help support kids and their families through sickness, disadvantage and special needs.
It makes me feel good to help others in need and I would love you to help me make a difference to the children that need it most.
