Growing back together
I have made the decision to cut and donate my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
A good friend has recently gone through cancer treatment and I thought I'd like to join her and Grow our hair back together (not grow our back hair together).
I'll be chopping off 35cm of hair at the end of May or as soon as I reach my goal.
I'm looking for 1000 friends and family to donate $1 each, making a combined $1000 donation to variety.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
