I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off around 45cm on the 7th of December.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

My hair donation story

Tuesday 22nd Nov
It’s almost been 6 years without this beautiful girl and her infectious smile 😇 In honour of my dear friend Kia, I will be donating my hair again on the 7th of next month to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. It takes around 20 donations to make just one wig and the courage and strength it brings a loved one after they have lost their hair is an indescribable feeling. I remember the joy on your face when you were showing off your newest wig to me and it was like you got a second wind to keep fighting through the toughest days. 
I hope this small donation from me, someone else’s fight is made a little easier and they feel a little stronger while facing it 💜
If you have any spare coin for this cause, please donate and it will go to Variety Children’s Charity along with my hair donation to help the manufacturing and distribution costs of these wigs 💇🏽‍♀️
