I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
This year over 25 year 12 students will be cutting their hair in order to raise money and awareness for children with cancer. I personally have made the decision of cutting and donating my hair towards the end of November this year. To me this isn't just about being able to donate my hair but it is an opportunity to educate, spread awareness and raise some money for a cause that is close to my heart. In the year of 2017 my family and I lost a beautiful little girl to cancer. Since then I have tried my best to raise funds and awareness for different organisations to help with cancer research.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Our goal is to reach $1500 by the end November before I cut my hair. Every little bit counts, even if you can't donate I would appreciate if you shared the link with your family, friends and on your pages to help us reach our goal. Thankyou :)
