I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!
Hi, my name is Isaiah and I am 3 years old. Here is a little background information about why I am choosing to take the big chop.
My parents never had the intention to grow my hair. A lot of people would comment and still do on how long, thick and beautiful my hair is and that they should never chop it.
That all changed when my parents heard the devastating news from a good family friend of ours. Their son Marcus who was only 2.5 years old at the time was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (blood cancer). He, along with his parents put up a great fight for 732 days. Marcus is now cancer free, thankfully!
No child or parent should ever have to face fighting the battle of cancer but unfortunately it happens, even to the best of us.
This September is childhood cancer month and so I have decided to take the big chop and donate my hair to help provide wigs to children who need the hair more than I do, as well as raising vital funds to support their families.
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
Help me put a smile on these children's faces! Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
