I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the tough decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 40+cm on Saturday October 9th at the Burnett Bowls Club, over at west Bundaberg on George st.

Please read the post’s below, I have put more details there about how and why I am doing this.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Tuesday 13th Apr
Hair cut off
When October 9th at 1:30pm
Where Burnett bowls club (George st, west Bundy).
Entry is $5 adults and $2 kids which includes afternoon tea. 
There will be a cent sale with plenty of great prizes, lucky door, raffles and food & drink to purchase, you will need to book in before the day to ensure a table.
All money raised will go to the variety children’s charity and towards my goal of $5000.
After the raffles are all done will be the big hair cut. Also if anyone else want to join in with variety children’s charity hair with heart you are welcome to come join in.

How will I do it

Thursday 11th Mar
I have come to the decision that I will cut off my gorgeous long hair that I love 💗. I am going to cut my hair but it is up to all you how short I go 😬 if I reach my goal of $5000 or over I will completely shave my head 🥺, however if I don’t reach my goal I will still chop the 40cm to send to make wigs for children that need them but keep the rest 💇‍♀️
I have been talking about doing this for years but always found an excuse to put it off, now I have finally set it up. Even though I love my hair I want to help these children and their families.
