Will's 'Why'

Friday 27th Mar
A few years ago, Will saw a video about a young girl around his age with alopecia losing her hair and replacing it with a wig. This led to asking/learning a bit about alopecia and medical hair loss in kids and hair donations for wigs for kids, and ultimately to him deciding to grow and donate his hair for the same cause.

When asked why he made that decision, Will says:

"I saw videos about kids losing their hair and it made me feel really sad for them. One video said sometimes people stare at them, or say rude things, and I imagined how hard it would be being a kid and losing all their hair and going bald because of a condition if wasn't their choice... So I decided I wanted to help!"

Now that he has cut his hair, ready to donate, and is raising money for kids with Variety, Will says:

"Thank you everyone for your support!! I am proud and happy that I have grown and cut my hair for donation and that kids who need it will be able to get some help and a wig from my cut hair!"

(And now he tells us that he is already planning to try and do the same again!!)
