I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I would like to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
It took me 3 years to grow my hair since my last donation, and this time around I'll be chopping off over 30 cms, in early February.
Sadly as I get older, my hair grows slower and doesn't have the same quality. Therefore I will not be able to donate it towards a child wig. Instead I will donate it to Sustainable Salons where it can be used towards adult wigs.
I still would like to support Variety's work, which is why I am setting up this fundraiser.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Even a small donation can make a difference.
