I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

We did it!

Sunday 24th Sep
Aaaand here we are... With short hair! What a day it was yesterday for myself and my friend Sunny and our families! So exciting! We are a whole lot lighter, and our hair will soon be on the way to Variety SA and Sustainable Salons! 

To all of you, who supported and donated to our cause Variety SA, THANK YOU!
I appreciate each and every one of you for your kind gift to families in need! 
I'm absolutely over the moon with the results, thank you thank you thank you!

And a special thanks goes to Nat and her team at CITRI Hair, Mount barker, who donated 4 hours of hair cutting time to our cause, went above and beyond to make us comfortable and look and feel amazing! I can't recommend them enough for their professionalism and styling! THANK YOU!

Wednesday 13th Sep
10 days to go until Sunny and I will lose our locks (or no locks, just long flat hair 😄)! 
With being incredibly busy on the farm and uni assignments due, time has just flown by. 

 Still a few days to support my wonderful cause Variety who supports kids with Alopecia, a condition where kids can't grow any hair. 
Every day I am thankful for my healthy children, and these kids are not so fortunate, so let's dig in and help them. 
Please help if you can spare a few dollars! ❤ thank you!

Thursday 24th Aug
I am so excited! My friend Sunny has asked me all about my hair cut, and she wants to join me YAY!!!
Unfortunately, HairWithHeart won't take dyed hair, so her hair will be sent to Sustainable Salons, which our salon Citri is member of. 
To get in together, we have had to move dates, so we will be able to brave this big move together on the 23rd Sept!
Sunny's hair is also long, and hers will be even shorter than mine when cut, like a bob cut, whereas mine will stay at a very short pony tail length. 

I appreciate all of your generous donations so far! This cause is really worth every cent, as it makes lives of kids, who have grown up with an illness, or experienced illness later in their childhood a little bit better. 

It makes me appreciate every single day, that I have a healthy family!

I'm so excited! 
I still can't picture myself with shorter hair, but I feel a little less terrified, and a bit more excited about the change. 
There has been a lot of change in my life this year, for me and for my whole family, I thought I should write a bit about myself! 
After 18 years of working in horse racing, I have started uni to become a midwife. 
Again,  terrifying yet exciting. 
My kids have started school and kindy and my husband a new job. 
We also farm 4 properties, so yes,  our lives are busy. But we are loving it!

How exciting! My page is now live!

On the 16th of September,  I am going to cut my hair, for it to be made into a wig for children with illnesses.  It takes 10-15 ponytails to make one wig! They are also super expensive to buy, so with every little bit of money we raise, we can help children who may be doing it tough, be able to afford one.  

Most people only know me with my hair up, and most are surprised when they see how long it is.
It has always been this long,  so this is huge for me to cut it back to between chin and shoulder length!
