I'm chopping my hair for Charity and need your help!
Hi , My Name is Tuana!
I am 6 years old and after watching an episode about ‘Hair with Heart Charity’ on BTN (ABCs Behind The News- kids news) during last years Victorian Covid Lockdown, I have made the decision to make a difference by Growing, Cutting and then Donating my hair to be made into a Wig for a Special Kid who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
It’s taken me a whole year to achieve my goal!
I'll be chopping off 35cm in 1 week on Saturday 3rd of July at Lincoln Salon (Essendon).
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
