THALIA's Hair with Heart challenge

I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

Hi I am Thalia, I am 19 years old. This year I have decided to take part in the Variety Charity and donate my hair to give back. 

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to make a difference to someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off approximately 15 inches of my uncoloured, untreated, 100% natural hair.

I have personally had cancer affect me by a loved one. My mum is almost 10 year breast cancer survivor, she underwent surgery and Chemotherapy, which caused her to loose her hair. I am very fortunate, she is here with me. 

I know not many are as fortunate, which is why i need to do this. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth.
