Suruwat's Hair with Heart challenge

I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off (35cm) on (10 April 2022)Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Hair Chop

Monday 23rd Mar

Growing up, I had a “boy cut” until 6th grade. I used to admire girls with long, flowing hair, but my parents always said no because long hair comes with responsibility and care.

As I grew older, I learned about cancer patients and how many of them experience hair loss during treatment. That really stayed with me. From that moment, I always had one goal — to grow my hair long enough so I could donate it to someone who truly needs it.

Today, I feel so grateful to have been able to donate my hair again. It may seem like a small thing, but it can mean so much to someone going through a difficult time.

Sometimes, something as simple as hair can bring back confidence, strength, and a smile 💛

Thanks for all the support
