Why I am donating my hair
Wednesday 13th JanHi I’m Stella Curley, I’m 15 years old and I live in Cairns. On the 5th of December 2020 I lost my grandma to pancreatic cancer. This cancer is normally detected late, spreads quickly, and has a poor prognosis. Sadly for my grandma, she passed away only 10 months after being diagnosed. Our family is not alone in losing a love one to cancer. I’m cutting my pony tail off on the 10th February 2021 which would have been my grandma’s birthday. I’m donating my hair and all money raised to “Hair with Heart”. Hair with Heart makes wigs for kids with cancer using the hair you have donated. My goal is to raise $1000 and I would appreciate your sponsorship to achieve my goal.
