I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I made the decision a few years ago to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions, my big chop has been delayed for a couple of years!
I'll be chopping off around 40cms of my hair at school assembly on Monday 9 May 2022.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Big Chop Done!
Monday 9th May I had an amazing time at school assembly having my big chop. All the other students were clapping and Michelle who cut my hair did a great job.
Last night of long hair!
Sunday 8th May It’s the night before the big chop and I’m so excited! I’m also excited that the donations to my fundraiser have reached over $3700! It’s just amazing. I will update tomorrow with photos from the big chop and the final total of the fundraising.

Friday 29th Apr Hello everyone, it’s just over 24 hours since I set up my fundraising page and I can’t believe that with all your kind hearted donations I’ve passed $2000. I never expected this! I am so grateful that your donations will help those in need of a wig. I will update again closer to the time of the big chop.Thanks for all the support
