Scarlet’s donating her lovely hair and is hoping you have a donation to share
Scarlet (8 years old) has made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
Scarlet is a very thoughtful young girl with a huge heart and this was 100% Scarlet’s own initiative. She has been growing her hair as long as she can for a very long time, with the intent to donate it and to raise money for sick children.
She will be chopping off 40cm at the end of March.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.
