I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. Now, in the COVID-19 crisis, people with alopecia and other medical conditions feel even more vulnerable and isolated, so I believe donating my hair and raising funds is a great way to give back to those in need.
I have chosen to donate my hair in celebration of my birthday as I believe there is no better way to celebrate this special day than to give back to the community!
I'll be chopping off 35cm on the 28th of August 2020.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need. I am truly grateful for your generosity!

Monday 10th Aug Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative. It is so great to see that my $1000 goal has been surpassed! This means so much to those suffering from alopecia and other medical conditions causing dramatic hair loss. The increased COVID-19 restrictions may have to put the big chop on hold for a while though, but I will definitely go on with the chop when things get better :) Share
