I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

My name is Ryleigh, I'm 11 years old and in 2019 I made the decision to grow and donate my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

It hasn't been easy, I have Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder which makes my scalp very sensitive. I have had to keep my hair in good condition and brush it every day. There have been many times where I wanted to cut all my hair off but I persevered and have grown it to 38cm long. 

I'll be chopping off 35cm of hair on the day I graduate grade 6, December 7th 2020

I am donating my hair to help make wigs for children who have medical conditions and need wigs. Wigs cost a lot of money to buy and I'm hoping to raise $1000 to donate along with my hair. 

If you can't donate, that's ok, but if you can I would really appreciate you helping me make a difference.

Today is the big day! 
Ryleigh cuts his hair! 
It's been a long journey but I am so proud of him, as him mother. It makes my heart double in size to know that he has made this achievement. Thankyou to all whom have helped reach his goal, you've done more than you ever know!

Friday 6th Nov
With one month to go until Ryleigh gets the big chop, I just want to say thankyou to everyone for your support. 
Ryleigh said to me "it's ok I f I don't get donations mum, my hair will still help someone!" 
When I got home from work last night and say that Ryleigh has reached over half his goal, we celebrated because we didn't expect this. On Wednesday we finally committed to which organisation to donate to and to have nearly reached his goal in 48 hours is outstanding. We live in a small town called Sarina, and the community support has blown us away. It's given Ryleigh an extra bit of oomph to help more people, seeing that the community wants to help him help people. It's shown him that there are so many out there who want to make a difference, just like he does.
