My hair is ready for chopping
This gorgeous face made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
For over 12 months she has been growing and looking after her hair to keep it nice and healthy for it's next adventure.
Olivia will be chopping off 36cm in the next school holidays (date to be advised) and is so super excited.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Days away!!!!
Saturday 26th Sep We’re only days away from the big chop. Olivia had a little video play at her school assembly and she was marvellous talking about the charity and what she has had to do to donate her hair. She has received AMAZING support from her school community and the community in general. She keeps jumping past her fundraising goal so she’s going to just keep spruiking until chop day and raise as much as she can to help as much as she can. Share

Tuesday 22nd Sep ONE WEEK TO GO!!!!! We are certainly on the downhill run, the excitement is building and our girl’s smile grows and grows the closer we get. Stupid Covid stopped it being the celebration we had hoped for but it will still be a magnificent day. You’re still able to help with fundraising if you want. We cannot help everyone that has helped Olivia in her efforts so far. Share

Sunday 20th Sep Only 9 sleeps till chopping day!!!!! Olivia spends her time thinking about the wonderful new hair styles she might get to share with whoever gets her hair. She’s hoping pony tails and clips. While she has raised and passed her fundraising goal wouldn’t it be awesome if we could get her to $750!!!! Share
