I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 14 inches (35.5cm) on 4 September 2022!

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Just 7 sleeps away!

Sunday 28th Aug
We are just 7 sleeps away until the big day. There is still plenty of time to donate some money to support Variety. Again, a big thank you to all who have donated :)

1 Week in and only $90 away!

It's only been a week and we are already $90 away from our goal of $500.

Thank you to all those who have already donated. Your donation provides various opportunities for those diagnosed with alopecia, cancer and other medical conditions that cause hair loss.

4 years later and we're back again!

Wednesday 10th Aug
On 7 January 2018, I handed my mum the scissors and we cut around 17 inches of my hair for Variety. For reference, my hair reached my waist so there was enough length for me to safely pass the minimum length without the final result being a bowl cut (you can ask my parents for the story).

4 years later, with hair that just reaches above my waist, I face the impulse to cut my hair and donate it again...and maybe the bowl cut isn't such a bad option...
