I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 36cm on Saturday the 26th of June, 2021.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

I’ve always had long hair. I’ve gone through front fringes and side fringes, and once I got really brave and cut my hair to my chest (which really wasn’t that short). It’s been a safety net, and for a girl with low self confidence, my hair created a sense of protection. 
I know how many people dream of having long thick hair, and it breaks my heart that so many children can have their hair taken from them and be battling things far greater than anything
I’ve ever been through. 
So, it’s time to stop thinking about myself and my insecurities, and start thinking about others, and how I can help.
