I’ve made the decision to take the big chop and change lives!

Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

I will be donating my hair to help provide a wig to someone who has lost their hair, as well as raising vital funds for kids in need.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

THE TIME HAS COME... I'M CHOPPING MY HAIR! 😱
I know... what am I doing?! The responses from people have ranged from "no, don't do it" and "are you crazy" to "thank god" and "it'll suit you".
They say that hair carries many memories and emotions and that couldn't be more true for me! My long locks mean so much to me, from hiding behind it to being confident in myself, hating it and rocking it. The adventures, the memories, the hair flicks (lol). Hope I don't have an identity crisis after this 😅
...But, this is exactly the reason why I'm doing this for the kids. My mermaid locks will be turned into wigs for kids who’ve lost their hair from cancer, alopecia or other medical conditions. I cannot imagine the devistation that these kids (and their parents!) must go through... not only being told they have an illness, but losing their hair to an illness with a big battle ahead. Being an Aunty means I have so many wonderful kids in my life (both in blood and in heart) and I would give anything to see them smile... that includes seriously chopping my golden crown.
Please support me in chopping my precious locks by making a donation to help kids smile again. I will be chopping it in late October, so if you can spare anything before that time please help where you can.
