I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off 38cm on the 18th of December.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Monday 9th Nov
I decided to grow my hair and donate it to kids in need when I saw a friend of my Mum's do this.  She had raised quite a lot of money before she cut her hair and I thought I could do the same since my hair was already pretty long and really thick.  It would make a great wig, maybe even two.  
I made this decision just over a year ago now and I am finally at a point where I can book a haircut...in a month, once I've done some fundraising.  
I'm pretty excited about opening my fundraising page because it means two things. One, I hope I am going to make someone very happy with a healthy wig.  Two, I get to have a proper haircut!  My hair is very heavy because there is so much of it and at 35.5+ cm long, I have to wear it down all of the time or I get a headache.  The timing of my fundraiser is perfect because it is about to get super hot!
