We're chopping our hair and need your help!

Alexis and I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating our hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

We'll be chopping off 33.5cm on (insert the date of your big chop in November when restrictions ease.

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us. We are so grateful for the lovely messages and donations.

Sunday 18th Oct
We measured our hair this morning and it is now long enough to take the chop. 

We are 25% to our fundraising total. 
Thank you to all our family and friends who have donated, shared our fundraising page or sent messages of support.

We hope to be able to book into the hair dressers by the end of November. (Due to stage 4 restrictions in Victoria there is a waitlist to get into the hairdresser's).

Hopefully by then we will be able to reach our target.

Variety is close to our hearts. Alexis and I haved talked about growing our hair and donating it for over a year. 

Our hair is almost long enough for us to reach the minimum 33.5cm long to be able to donate it.

Along with our hair donation we would also like to raise enough money to cover the costs to buy a wig as well.

If you can, please help us by making a donation, even $2 will make a difference.
