I'm chopping my hair and need your help!

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.

I'll be chopping off most of my hair on the 28 of December so that it can be processed and transformed into a wig for someone who needs it. Hopefully you can support this cause by contributing what you can to help make a difference for these children along with their families and loved ones. 

Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need. Please know that whatever donation is made goes a long way in bringing these children joy and happiness.

Making a Difference

To those who have taken the time to read this, 

Most of us carry on with our daily lives and routines throughout the year without really considering how we can make a difference in the world? By asking myself this question it led to me starting a fundraiser for this cause and making the decision to cut my hair so I could hopefully answer that question. After taking the time to read this website and learn all of the wonderful things they have achieved, I realised that I wanted to be a part of this and do what I can to help children and families in need. Hopefully after reading this post you can find your own answer to that question. If at all possible, please consider creating your own fundraiser or donating to an existing cause. It really does help by making a difference to those in need of it.
