Hoops for Hair with Heart
This September, Norths Basketball is proud to come together as a community to support Hair with Heart, a program of Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT.
September is Alopecia Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to raise awareness and show our support for children experiencing alopecia and other forms of medical hair loss.
For a child who has lost their hair, a wig can be about so much more than appearance. It can help restore confidence, provide comfort and give them the freedom to get back to the things they love – whether that’s spending time with friends, heading to school or getting out on the basketball court.
That’s why, on 19 September, the Norths Basketball community is coming together to raise vital funds for Hair with Heart. Funds raised will help Variety provide wigs and other essential support to children experiencing permanent hair loss.
By getting involved, donating or simply helping us spread the word, you can help kids feel confident, included and supported.
