I'm chopping my hair and dont try to stop me!
After more than three years of blatant disregard for personal grooming, I have made the decision to make a positive difference to a stranger by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off just over 14" on April 4th.
Just FYI (and a major reason I'm doing this instead of just chopping and chucking), wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting only 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to 'Variety - the Children's Charity', you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Friday 11th Feb Blessed with rich colour and a total lack of baldness well past middle age, and having given zero cares the past few years about the usual short back and sides, I've finally started unintentionally sitting on my hair and have decided it's now a bit in the way.
