I'm chopping my hair and would love your support!

For the past two years, I have been growing out my hair and in October I'll finally be chopping off 36cm of it so it can be made into a wig! The wig is for children who have lost their hair due to medical conditions such as Leukaemia, Alopecia and Trichotillomania. 

Losing your hair can have profound psychological affects, particularly through childhood and adolescence. However, wigs cost families up to $6,000 and usually last 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. 

By donating to Variety Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need, giving them the confidence to simply be themselves.
