I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off 36cm at the end of July 2021.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.

Saturday 6th Nov The big day has finally arrived! Off to the hairdressers we go early this morning. The big chop was done, and the length of the hair donated was 50cm braids. Hannah is happy to be free of the long hair but also that she is donating her hair to a worthy organisation who will make wigs for kids who need them. Thank you to you all who donated! Haircut delay…😞
Saturday 30th Oct Hannah was due to have her hair cut on the 23rd October, however the salon called in the morning to let us know the hairdresser who was booked to cut Hannah’s hair was unwell and had to cancel all their appointments. While Hannah was disappointed, we have booked a new haircut date for the 4th November. And this gives us an opportunity to keep raising funds! Hair cut has been booked for 23rd October 2021!
Saturday 2nd Oct Lockdown has delayed Hannah’s planned haircut, however this has meant a longer hair donation for the Variety Club.
