I'm chopping my hair!
About a year and a half ago I decided to grow out my hair for our wedding but then I thought, why not grow it a little longer and donate it for someone who needs it!
I found Hair with Heart, where I watched this beautiful video about how much this little girls wig changed her whole life and gave her back her confidence
It takes 10-20 ponytails to create just one wig and it costs families $6,000 per wig, but that's not all... they only last 1-2 years! Families can spend thousands of dollars over a child's youth which is why I've set a goal to fundraise $1,000 to go towards children's wigs, medical treatments and much needed equipment. No donation is too small, every little bit helps!
I'll be chopping and donating a minimum of 35.5cms of my hair in December. A huge thank you in advance for supporting me in making a difference to these children's lives and I can't wait to bring you all on my my Hair with Heart journey!
